Desirae’s shoes made a loud
pattering sound as they clomped against the pavement of the sidewalk. She
stopped to wipe a bead of sweat from her head and she looked up at the sun
which had begun its afternoon decent. She sighed and pressed on, continuing her
trek to the circus.
Leefah and Morgana exited the
café giggling together at one of Leefah’s jokes.
“And so the snowman said to the
ice witch…” Leefah began but was interrupted.
Chasity stood before them with
her arms crossed and her lips sticking out as she pouted. “You were in there
for hours Leelee…” she said angrily.
Leefah rolled her eyes, “Aren’t
you supposed to be at the house…”
Chasity straightened herself and
flipped her hair back then flashed a confident smile. “I should be, but then
again I’m not am I?”
Leefah looked at her confused,
“Eh?” she asked. “Morgana, I may have to leave you now it seems…”
Morgana flicked her fan open and
fanned her face, “I see Leefah, It was a pleasant breakfast and I do believe we
should do it again.” She stated somewhat snobbishly and yet Leefah felt it was
her trying to be friendly.
Chasity walked over and shoved
herself in between the two girls. ”Yes, Leave, Go… Leelee belongs to me you
know!” she said angrily.
Morgana turned away, “I
understand, but you can’t just hog her all to yourself…” she said glumly.
Leefah grew mad as well,
“Chasity you are being rude! Apologize!”
Chasity gasped, “But… But…”
Leefah shook her head, “No buts!
Apologize! NOW!” she commanded.
Chasity sighed and muttered
obscenities to herself and walked over to Morgana. She stared at her and looked
away angrily. “I’m…” she gulped, “I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings…”
Morgana shoved her fan to her
head dramatically, “I don’t believe you!” she yelled and started making a
scene.
Chasity felt her whole body
shiver with fury and she tackled Morgana and began attacking her with furious
fists of fairiness!
Leefah felt the vein on her
forehead bulge, “Honestly Chasity you do this whenever I hang with another girl
that isn’t your friend!”
Chasity and Morgana stopped
fighting and Chasity stomped her foot on the ground, “But… Morgana is my love
rival!”
Leefah rolled her eyes again,
“You are insane!”
Morgana flicked her fan open and
she fanned herself elegantly. “I hate to break it to you moth head but that’s
not the boat I float if you catch my drift.”
Chasity growled at her and she
ran over to Leefah. “Well kindly float your boat away from us! We are currently
having what we call best friend time! And you aren’t involved!” Chasity yelled
at Morgana and shooed her away.
Leefah sighed, “Looks like we’ll
have to hang out another time Morgana… Cya around?”
Morgana nodded, “Sure thing. You
have fun with her and I’ll call you dear pal” She said as she slid on a pair of
sunglasses and left the lot for an afternoon walk.
Chasity breathed out a sigh of
relief, “Phew, glad she’s gone… What should we do now Leelee?” she asked
happily.
Desirae stopped when she noticed
Morgana walking towards her.
Morgana looked up and gasped
with excitement.
Desirae waved politely, “Hey
Morgana!”
“Ahh yes! Debra! How are you
today?” Morgana asked as she got Desirae’s name wrong once again.
Desirae lowered her hand slowly,
“Well… That’s as close as you’ll ever get I guess… I’m out for a… Uh… A walk…”
Morgana fanned herself,
“Coincidentally, So am I. Might I join you? I get awfully alone really quick…”
Desirae thought to herself,
“It’d be good to have back-up if things got ugly up there… On the other hand… I
can’t do what I normally could if she saw…”
Morgana stood impatiently,
“Well? Yes or no? I haven’t got all day Debra…”
Desirae shook her head, “I’m
sorry I’ll just go al” she suddenly stopped and tackled Morgana.
Morgana screamed, “What’s the
big idea!”
Two beams of light flew past
them. The girls sat up and saw an all-black figure standing before them.
“Target, Desirae Vega…” the figure said to themselves. It then spotted Morgana
and began analyzing her.
Morgana covered her chest, “I
feel like it can see through my clothes!”
Desirae stood up furiously, “Who
are you!” she demanded an answer.
The figure cocked its head to
the side, “Correction to list. Target list updated to include Morgana Wolff.
Target list is now Morgana Wolff, and Desirae Vega.”
Desirae grabbed at her necklace,
“You freak…” she was about to shout a pair of words but looked back and saw
Morgana was looking at them.
“This is… a little frightening…”
she said as she sat on her knees.
Desirae groaned annoyed, “Great,
I can’t do anything with her here…” she thought to herself.
“However!” Morgana shouted.
Desirae turned around and
watched Morgana rise to her feet.
“I believe you are the jerk who
attacked me and my dear friends Leefah and Georgia at the ice cream palace a
few days ago! Correct?” she asked.
The figure stood silent before
the two girls.
“I thought so…” Morgana
finished. She flicked her wrist and shot her fan out, “I for one will not stand
by and let you harm my friend Debra!” she shouted.
Desirae face palmed, “It’s…
Desirae…”
“Oh really? Debra I didn’t know
you changed your name!” Morgana said surprised but was suddenly taken off guard
and shot backwards onto the ground.
Desirae watched in horror as
Morgana struggled to stay awake. She ran over and held her hand, “Are you
okay?!” she asked worriedly.
Morgana nodded slowly and her
head fell to the ground passed out.
Desirae stood up as fast as a
lightning bolt. She looked at the figure and saw they had just shot a beam of
energy at Morgana.
“Incapacitator Beam, direct
it…”the figure muttered. It looked at Desirae next, “Your ally isn’t dead, only
down for the count…” The figure then raised their hand at Desirae and shot
another red beam.
Desirae rolled to the sighed and
narrowly dodged. She brushed a stand of her sweaty brown hair out of her face.
“I hear you attacked my friends Georgia and Leefah… You also just attacked my
somewhat friend Morgana too… That’s unforgivable!” she shouted.
Desirae looked up towards the
sky and saw the sun beating down upon them. She then glared at the figure who
was analyzing her now.
“I don’t care who you are,
Morgana won’t see this so I’m taking you down!” Desirae shouted angrily.
She looked down at her necklace
and tapped the gem in the center, she suddenly became enveloped in a blue aura.
Her body lifted from the ground and her clothes disintegrated from her. She
then started twirling in the air and different clothes began to form around her
pure white skin. Her hair grew longer as well, into two pig tails. Her feet
shot out next and rubber boots slid right onto them. Her clothes then molded
around her figure into a blue blouse and skirt. Her arms were then covered in
bright white gloves and her necklace split off her and shattered, then came
back together into the form of a tiara and shot itself onto her forehead.
Desirae landed back on the
ground in an entirely new outfit than normal! Her hair was flowing in the wind
and her hand was clenched into a fist. She lowered her head and crossed her
arms having her hands stick out in the process. She snapped her fingers and
spun around then shot a death stare at the figure. “You’ve just ticked off your
worst enemy.”
The figure stumbled back in awe
of Desirae’s transformation. They then looked at her and began to re-analyze
her.
She smirked, “My name is Prisma
gal!” she shouted, she then spun and made a deadly pose, her hands having their
index, pinkie, and thumbs shot forward at the figure as though she were taking
aim with two guns. “I’m the guardian of Sunset Valley, and the stars have sent
me to punish you!”
The two of them made death
glares at each other and then shot forward to begin their fight.
Tophet perched upon her throne
in her dressing room. Her elbow was resting on the arm of the chair, and her
head was lying in the palm of her hand. She laughed to herself. “I see we have her
transformation…”
Joker then entered her room. “My
dear… How is everything going…” he asked.
Tophet looked at her crystal
ball in the center of the table in front of her. “See for yourself…” she
replied.
Joker stepped forward with his
arms behind his back. He leaned over and looked into the crystal ball, seeing
Desirae as Prisma Gal fighting the figure. He then laughed too, “It seems Prim
and Rue have their work cut out for them…”
Tophet’s stare continued on the
crystal ball, “I gave them an order… they will follow it…”
Joker then turned and headed for
the exit, “My dear…”
Tophet looked at him, “My
love?...”
Joker smirked, “This is not
going to be as easy we thought…”
Tophet nodded worriedly, “I
know… my love…”
Joker turned to look at her with
his dark purple eyes, “Just promise… you’ll never leave my side…” he asked.
Tophet shot up out of her chair
and wrapped her arms around him, “I can promise you that… my love…”
