Chapter 5

Leefah and Morgana plopped themselves down at a table. They had just arrived at a small bakery and café near the town’s local diner. Leefah looked around in awe, “This place is so cute!” she whispered to Morgana.
Morgana raised her fan to her face, “Why of course it is darling” she replied elegantly, “I only go to places I can see paparazzi following me to.”
Leefah looked at her, “So… you have problems with paparazzi?”
Morgana went silent,”…No… But I might eventually… I for one plan to be famous one of these days…” she fanned herself once again, “I already am famous in this town, but soon the world will be fawning over me! BAH HA HA HAAAA” she laughed hysterically.
Leefah closed her eyes and muttered to herself, “She’s almost as crazy as Chas… only not in a pervert way…”
Morgana lowered her fan, “Now my friend, Shall we order?”
                Leefah stuttered, “Oh… Right sure…”
The two girls stood up from their table and headed for the counter.
Next to their table, was a large glass window that looked out to a pond and was surrounded by bushes. They then began to rumble and Chasity popped her head out and glared at Leefah and Morgana. “Leelee... You better stick to the diet I prepared for you…” she said to herself and flashed back to when she arrived back to her house with Leefah on the day of her arrival.
Leefah looked around at the house as she entered through the doorway, “Wow Chas, you have great taste in décor you know.”
Chasity blushed, “Oh Leelee, thank you for the fine compliments!” she replied then turned and huddled over, “And you have great taste in clothes, if only you’d take them off and let me see what the underneath was like” she moaned to herself.
Leefah looked back at her and glared, “You aren’t making fantasies about me again are you…” she said through gritted teeth.
Chasity looked back and shook her head, “No no, of course not Leelee.” She stuck her hand in her pocket and took out a piece of paper and handed it to Leefah. “Here, you’ll wanna keep this.”
Leefah looked at the paper, “What is it?... Broccoli… Corn Muffins with Blueberries… Strawberry Sundown Shake… These are all foods…”
Chasity nodded, “Why of course Leelee. I listed every food that you are allowed to eat at every restaurant in Sunset Valley.” She grinned dreamily at Leefah, “I wouldn’t want you to mess up that fabulous figure of yours with anything gross and unhealthy…”
Leefah could feel a vein buldge on her head, “...…….What did you just say!” she screamed as she punched Chasity and sent her flying back against a wall.
Chasity felt her body leave an imprint against the blue striped wall. “Oh Leelee, you’re so strong… follow those foods and you’ll be sure to stay that way…” she replied dizzily and slid onto the hardwood flooring.
Chasity then snapped out of her flashback, “I don’t even remember if I wrote this place down on there or not…” she said to herself glumly, “OHHHHH, I’M SUCH AN IDIOT FOR NOT THINKING OF THIS PLACE!” she screamed and scratched her head worriedly.
Leefah, at the counter, walked up and stared at the board which listed the café’s foods. She tapped her chin and then pulled out a slip of paper from her jacket.
                Morgana looked over, “What’s that?”
Leefah kept her eyes on the paper, “Something Chasity gave me, It has somethings she wanted me to try on it.”
Chasity’s eyes shot open and she looked up. She could feel her heart beating rapidly and her face blushing the brightest red. “OHHH LEELEE, YOU REMEMBERED THE PAPER!!!” she shouted happily and fainted from the pure joy.
Leefah looked over her shoulder at the window when she heard the thump of Chasity’s body fainting and landing on the ground. She shrugged and turned back to the lady at the counter, "Hi I'd like to have...."
Chasity then lay next to the bushes with her mouth drooling and her eyes filled with hearts.

Georgia and Desirae continued towards central park. Georgia listened as little mocking birds singed the various tunes of what the little town made during its daily routine. “Isn’t nature beautiful?” Georgia asked Desirae gracefully.
Desirae seemed to be a little angry. “Huh... Oh… yeah…” she replied as she looked back at the ally they had just left.
Georgia stopped her from continuing. “Hold up Desirae…”
Desirae stopped in her tracks, “Something wrong?”
Georgia examined her friend. She ran circles around her multiple times and then shot her face next to her and looked her dead in the eyes. “You have a bruise on your leg…” she whispered.
Desirae gasped and looked down at her thigh. Her shorts had slipped upwards by a centimeter and revealed a little edge of a purple spot on her leg.
Georgia crossed her arms, “I knew something was going on in that ally… Spill the beans!”
Desirae tssked at her, “Nothing was going on. I was taking a shortcut through there and fell on your remember. When I landed I hit the side of a garbage can pretty hard. That’s probably it…” she replied nonchalantly.
Georgia examined her face next, “Your nose is also bruised… you aren’t the best with make-up…”
Desirae rubbed her nose and winced a little. “So what, I walked into a door this morning…”
Georgia narrowed her eyes, “This has been happening a lot lately. I feel like you’re hiding something from me! And I’m your best friend!” she said as she begun to pout.
Desirae waved her hand to try and get her to stop, “Please don’t do what I think you’re going to do…”
Georgia fell onto the ground and tears suddenly streamed down her cheeks.
Desirae stumbled backwards, “No! Stop!” she pleaded.
“WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” Georgia screamed as she cried intensely.
Desirae looked around as people begun to stare at them, “Georgia you are making a big scene!”
Georgia wiped her nose, “No I’m nooooooooooooooooooooooooootttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!” she screamed back.
Desirae groaned, “Ughhhhh! Fine! I went out to a bar last night and got in a fight with some guy, you happy?”
Georgia suddenly stopped crying and shot up, “Good! I was hoping you’d own up to it.”
Desirae rolled her eyes and sighed, “Ugh, Just don’t tell Chasity… she’ll be angry if she knew I was getting in more fights….”
Georgia stuck her thumb up and winked, “Don’t worry girl, your secret is safe with me.”
                Desirae smiled with relief, “Thanks…”
Georgia blinked and her face went worried, “Although… Are you sure you didn’t see that flash in the ally as you were running through?”
Desirae shook her head, “Nope. Maybe you were hallucinating?”
Georgia narrowed her eyes again, “If you know anything I swear I’ll cry even louder…” she threatened.
Desirae could feel her hairs stand up on the back of her neck. She sighed and smirked, “I was taking a selfie…”
Georgia blinked, “A selfie…” she repeated back.
Desirae nodded, “Yup… for instagram… you know I like my morning runs…”
Georgia rolled her eyes, “Whatever… Wierdo…” she scoffed at her.
Desirae looked around and saw that the crowd that had begun to surround them had dispersed and were crowded over at the park. “Hey look, a bunch of people are over there…”
Georgia looked over, “Wonder what for… A duel maybe?”
Desirae looked at her, “Let’s go see”
Georgia looked back at her and smiled, “Right!” she replied.
The two then ran off towards the park together.
Behind them, Prim and Rue the circus twins exited out of the door that Desirae and Georgia had stood in front of. Their blank stares locked onto Desirae and Georgia.
The girl, Prim, looked at the boy. “The one in yellow seems suitable enough for tonight…”
The boy, Rue, nodded. “Miss Tophet can decide…” he replied quietly.
Prim stepped up next to him, “It seems Braun and Bella are attracting the crowd to show off for the show.”
Rue looked back up towards the direction of the tent. “Let’s head back now and show the pictures we’ve taken.”
Prim turned and snapped a quick picture of Georgia running towards the crowd.
The twins then ran off towards the tent together, with the sun beating directly down on the town and all the unsuspecting citizens.
